About Scrambled
The Problem
Misscrambles are a growing problem in competitive speed cubing. In Q1 2025 alone, the WCA Regulations Committee resolved over 100 competition incidents. At Worlds 2025 in Seattle, a misscramble in the Clock finals changed the podium results, costing a competitor $750.
Current verification is entirely manual — scramblers visually compare the cube to a printed diagram. Under time pressure, this fails constantly.
How Scrambled Works
- Enter the scramble notation from your scorecard
- The app computes exactly what every facelet should look like
- Compare the 2D diagram to your physical cube
- Confirm the scramble is correct before you solve
